2020 brought us Covid. Then in 2021 we encountered supply chain, logistical issues and raw material scarcity. Now as we enter 2022, we’ve got the superfecta - Covid, supply chain, logistical issues and raw material scarcity. At Martin Specialty Coatings one thing is a given – great challenges are overcome by great people, and we fully expect 2022 to be another record year for the company. Our long-term plan sets high expectations and has 100% buy-in from all our stakeholders. Being around for 75-years we are fortunate to have experienced human capital, logistical assets, financial resources and a diverse offering capable of thriving in any business climate.
MSC’s business model is all about our people. We don’t manufacture anything or have robots so it’s critical that our people are on-site applying coatings daily. We’ve hired and will hire people from coast to coast and border to border over the past couple of years. We cannot grow the topline if we don’t grow our team. Additionally we need experienced, inexperienced, career minded and career motivated; when we hire someone we let them know we hope Martin Specialty Coatings is the last company they ever work for.
Looking forward to 2022, the mission at Martin is simple – Set Expectations High, Tackle Problems Quickly, manage stakeholders to plan, and have fun pushing the boundaries every day!
