CHALLENGE
Ochsner LSU Health wanted to improve the overall post-partum patient experience in their St. Mary Medical Center. They contacted Martin Specialty Coatings to update the restrooms to a smooth finish with more modern fixtures and vanities, and to recoat & recover the rooms.
SOLUTION
Martin Specialty Coatings installed a decorative, moisture tolerant, cementitious, urethane floor system into the patient restrooms that would meet the decorative & cleanliness standards of the hospital. In addition, a smooth epoxy finish was applied to the walls of the restroom. A total of nine units were renovated.
