Challenge

Have you ever been to Walmart? The answer to that question is most likely yes, and if so then you have seen their magnitude of shopping carts. These shopping carts quickly become damaged/worn down, because of outside conditions and how frequently they are used. Regional Walmart management needed a cost-efficient alternative to renew their carts instead of having to completely replace them.  

Solution

Martin Specialty Coatings was able to powder coat the shopping carts renewing them and making them more durable. While being coated the wheels, plastic, and other pieces are removed to ensure their protection. In order to accommodate these pieces, Martin had to design new racks for production.
